Ayoka is a prestigious brand born within the company Solanco. This company is a family business established in the footwear industry and rooted in Tarn-et-Garonne since 1929. The story of Solanco began as an epic journey with Pierre Arakelian, a young Armenian orphan, who decided to create his own company in 1929, opening a modest workshop with his French wife. His ambition was clear: to design high-quality, comfortable, and durable shoes intended to accompany their wearers over time. When Pierre Arakelian handed over the reins of the company, his successor, Raymond Arakelian, took on the task of modernizing and diversifying the production tools, thus injecting a new energy into the family business.
