Zied Ben Amor launched his fashion brand Baziszt in 2021 after experiencing a burnout and a difficult confinement. Raised in a conservative environment in Tunis, he long suppressed his creative aspirations, focusing on a career in applied mathematics. However, his love for fashion and drawing eventually led him to reinvent himself as a designer. Baziszt, an acronym of his name and nickname, offers hand-embroidered shirts for men, advocating for ethical fashion with a strong cultural heritage. Originally targeted at men, the brand has attracted a large female clientele, now representing half of its customers. Baziszt's creations, described as "hedonistic, nostalgic, and visionary," are known for their refined craftsmanship and vintage touch. Zied Ben Amor has thus found meaning in his life by blending tradition and modernity in an authentic approach.
