After 35 years in the industry working with suppliers worldwide, Celtic Tweed was founded in 2012 with the ambition to create a uniquely Irish clothing collection, reimagining traditional fabrics and proudly making them in Balbriggan, a town with a rich history of weaving dating back to the 1830s. Since then, every day has been a journey of learning and discovery, guided by a simple philosophy: stripping away the unnecessary to design timeless, stylish pieces. Each garment is meticulously handcrafted by a passionate team of designers, cutters, and tailors, refined season after season. Authentic, durable, and embodying quiet luxury, these creations are made to mold beautifully to the body and to become cherished heirlooms, passed down for future generations to enjoy.
