Description

Cordoa is a Portuguese brand of handmade sandals founded by Sílvia Catarino, a designer trained in arts, crafts, and design. After launching her first accessories brand in Milan in 2001 and collaborating with French and Swedish brands in the footwear industry for several years, she decided to create Cordoa so she could work at her own pace and according to her values. The brand offers limited collections handmade in Portugal, carefully designed using high-quality European materials. Each model, made from vegetable-tanned leather with thick leather soles and natural rubber inserts, combines quality, durability, and timelessness while leaving room for experimentation. Cordoa advocates a thoughtful and sustainable approach, as opposed to fast production, to create unique pieces designed to last.
