The story of COULEUR TONG begins in 2017 when Eric Maydew and Vincent Chevillott, creators of the brand Bishoes, a success in the 2000s flip-flop market, noticed the growing interest of consumers in responsible consumption. Motivated by this awareness, they decided to launch a collection of leather flip-flops, entirely made in France. Their commitment to quality is reflected in the choice of noble materials and meticulous artisanal production, ensuring the durability and comfort of their products. In 2023, the team moved into a redeveloped old factory, formerly known for the production of ski gloves by GAMET, transforming this place into a new workshop. With this relocation and the acquisition of new machines, COULEUR TONG strengthens its quality requirements and diversifies its production, integrating all manufacturing stages internally. In addition to flip-flops, the brand ventures into the production of bags and slippers, repeatedly reimagined and modernized to meet the expectations of a clientele seeking durable and elegant products.
