Freeman T-Porter
Freeman T. Porter was born out of a love story. In 1944, young GI Freeman T. Porter, born in Missouri, was deployed to Europe where he fought for the liberation of France. He fell deeply in love with a young German woman. Many years later, their son Erwin O. Licher, now a stylist, launched his clothing brand, naming it Freeman T. Porter in tribute to his father. Naturally influenced by his father's past, Erwin structured his initial collections around streetwear and military themes. It was only later that he created designs with a more urban and contemporary style. Specializing in denim, the French brand Freeman T. Porter has been a must-have reference in ready-to-wear fashion for over 25 years. While collections evolve, the Freeman T. Porter uniform remains unchanged.
