The Griffon House was founded in 1924 in Roanne, the birthplace of the textile industry. At its origin, two visionary brothers, Raoul and Roland Griffon, saw in women's ready-to-wear - and in knitwear in particular - a growing market. This would over time become the specialty of the House. For over 90 years, the company has grown and been passed down from father to son, until the third generation of the Griffon family, represented by Raoul and Roland Griffon (the 2nd). In 2023, the entrepreneurial duo Arnaud de Belabre and Karine Renouil-Tiberghien, moved by Griffon's history, decide to take over the brand and its manufacturing. Griffon 1924 now has 330 retail outlets in France and designs its pieces for active women who love fashion. A style balanced between elegance and modernity.
