Kappa, an iconic brand of clothing and footwear, was born in 1916 in Turin, Italy, under the name Maglificio Calzificio Torinese (MCT), initially specializing in socks and underwear. In 1967, after a financial crisis, MCT reinvented itself under the brand Kappa, symbolized by the famous Omini logo representing a man and a woman back to back. International success came in the 1970s and 1980s thanks to its association with sports, especially football. Kappa became the official sponsor of the Italian national team and many prestigious clubs. Today, the brand is known for its sporty and urban style, combining innovation and tradition.
