Kenzo is a fashion brand founded in 1970 in Paris by Japanese designer Kenzo Takada. After studying fashion in Tokyo, Kenzo moved to Paris in 1964, bringing with him a unique fusion of Western and Eastern styles. He quickly stood out with his bold floral patterns, exotic prints, and fluid silhouettes that contrasted with the more rigid trends of the time. Kenzo's first store, called "Jungle Jap," opened in 1970 and gained attention for its vibrant aesthetic and joyful atmosphere. Kenzo became famous for his spectacular and playful fashion shows, turning runway presentations into true spectacles. In 1993, the brand was acquired by the luxury group LVMH. Kenzo Takada retired in 1999, but the brand continued to thrive under the creative direction of various designers, each bringing their own interpretation of the Kenzo spirit. The brand is now recognized for its clothing, accessories, perfumes, and home collections, combining boldness, cultural diversity, and an unmistakable sense of joyful and free-spirited style.
