The French brand L'Eggstra is renowned for its handcrafted eggs with impressive realism, containing messages, jewelry, or pins according to the customers' wishes. In 2013, Carole Montigny decided to take on an ambitious challenge: to recycle an eggshell to restore its original shape. After nearly a year of development, she succeeded in creating intact eggshells reconstituted in a surprisingly realistic way from real eggs. The following year, in 2014, Carole expanded her business by venturing into jewelry making. The jewelry bearing the L'Eggstra signature shares the same values as their containers: they are local, 100% handmade in the workshop, and have a simple and minimalist aesthetic, ideal for surprising gifts. The entire production process is entirely artisanal and handmade in the L'Eggstra henhouse. The eggshells used are sourced from local pastry and ice cream artisans, thus incorporating a sustainable and responsible dimension into the brand. L'Eggstra continues to charm with its unique and innovative approach, combining traditional craftsmanship and unparalleled creativity.
