Description

The first Nörvik collection was launched in 1994. Since then, Géry Vandervaeren, founder of the brand, has had only one obsession: to design and manufacture quality shoes for children. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, Géry Vandervaeren was encouraged by his uncle to open up to the world and other cultures. After a stint in London and a few years in Asia, he returned to Belgium to found Nörvik. A name in tribute to his uncle from the Netherlands, Nörvik is also a family affair, with his architect sister contributing to the creation of the first four collections. The brand is committed to an ecological approach, with most of our linings made of aniline leather. Nörvik produces its shoes in Europe to reduce carbon footprint.
