PURAAI is a vegan sneaker brand born in 2018, founded by two young Italian designers after a trip to Japan. Its name combines the Japanese words “Pura” (plastic) and “Ai” (love), expressing the idea that recycled plastic can become a sustainable and aesthetic material. Production is carried out entirely in Italy, with PETA-certified models made from recycled or organic materials such as organic cotton, recycled nylon or recycled rubber soles.
