Repetto is a French brand founded in 1947 by Rose Repetto in Paris. Rose's initiative was born out of love for her son, Roland Petit, a famous dancer and choreographer, for whom she made his first dance slippers. Quickly, Repetto's creations captivated the biggest names in dance, including Rudolph Noureev and Mikhail Baryshnikov. In 1956, Brigitte Bardot, then a rising actress, ordered a pair of "Cendrillon" ballet flats for the film "And God Created Woman," propelling the brand into the world of fashion. Combining artisanal craftsmanship and elegance, Repetto became a must-have reference for both professional dancers and the general public, expanding its range to urban shoes, bags, and clothing.
