Founded in Paris in 2019 by Andreas Steiner, Rier offers heritage luxury clothing inspired by his native South Tyrol. Each collection revisits timeless mountain garments that shaped his childhood in the Italian Alps. The brand is committed to a transparent supply chain, using natural materials from responsible sources and collaborating with local artisans. By promoting a human-scale economy, Rier designs practical and minimalist pieces tailored to today’s lifestyle. Steiner, who previously worked at Prada, Miu Miu and Louis Vuitton, was nominated for the LVMH Prize in 2021.
