Inspired by the spirit of the samurai, Samurai Jeans is a Japanese brand founded in Osaka in 1997 by Toru Nogami. Specialising in denim, the label is known for its heavy selvedge fabrics, its demanding manufacturing standards and its attention to construction details. The jeans are designed to last and to evolve over time, with particular emphasis placed on materials and production processes. This approach extends through the Samurai Cotton Project, an initiative aimed at cultivating cotton in Japan in order to better understand and control every stage, from fibre to finished product. Samurai Jeans follows a philosophy centred on authenticity, craftsmanship and denim quality.
