Born in Pearl City on the island of Oahu, Town & Country was founded in 1971 by Craig Sugihara, who was driven by a deep passion for surfing. After honing his skills at Greg Noll Surfboards and Mystic Surfboards, he opened his own shop in a former barbershop, with the ambition of designing quality boards for the local community. Located between Honolulu (“Town”) and the north coast of Oahu (“Country”), the brand quickly established itself as a benchmark in the surfing world.
